Description

Due to the complexities of modeling and the difficulty in convergence of micro modeling of composite materials into finite element software like ABAQUS, the use of macro modeling is nowadays more widely used than micro modeling.

In macro modeling, instead of separately modeling the components of the composite, the results of the laboratory as well as the existing theories suggest that the properties of the composite are introduced to the ABAQUS software in various ways.

In this training package, we introduce a different methods of modeling composite materials using the macro modeling in the elastic region. This training package also introduces a variety of theories governing the use of composite materials in the use of various elements.
