Simulation of Crack by XFEM in ABAQUS
Customer project carried out by CAE Assistant team
Simulation of Crack by XFEM and calculation of stress intensity factor in ABAQUS is widely used as an initial practice who want to learn fracture simulation. In this Analysis, Crack was modeled by XFEM and displacement, strain and stress contour were investigated. Stress intensity factor is one of the most important result of this simulation.
